The Los Angeles Review of Books / USC Publishing Workshop is an intensive, multidisciplinary summer program that prepares its fellows for the present and future of publishing and related fields. While we offer a standard curriculum to each year’s cohort, we also customize that curriculum according to the stated interests and background of the admitted fellows. We are therefore interested in knowing what areas most interest you and why and what goals you hope to accomplish by attending this workshop.
Deadline for scholarship consideration has been extended to March 15.
All applications are due by April 1.
Personal Statement Please explain how the workshop fits into your overall publishing goals.
Resume and Transcripts You will need to upload a PDF of your resume or CV and, if within 5 years of graduation, a PDF of your transcripts from the undergraduate and graduate institutions you have attended.
Work Samples (Optional) If you have experience relevant to the workshop in editing, publishing, layout, design or marketing, please include a portfolio of your work.
Non-refundable application fee A $40 fee is required for all applicants.
